Renault HBC's styling will be inspired by Duster. The platform and engine options would be the same as Triber MPV . Renault India is planning to introduce a sub-4-meter SUV on the heels of the Triber MPV in the country. Reports suggest that the new sub-compact SUV has been codenamed as HBC while it is expected to hit the Indian roads by mid-2020. The new Renault HBC will take on the likes of Ford EcoSport , Mahindra XUV300 , Maruti Vitara Brezza , Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue . The French automaker, taking cues from Kwid and Triber , is aiming for a belligerent pricing. The rendering artists have made a digital replica of the SUV. It is being learned that Renault will use the same versatile CMF-A+ architecture for the new small SUV, identical to Kwid and Triber.
